TriCities Magicians' Society
The members, Wallace, Paul, & David, met at 541 at approximately 6:15PM and found their usual meeting place occupied. A brief discussion was held and the members decided to go elsewhere for the meeting. The members then went to Shoney's and all future meeting will now be held at Shoney's unless otherwise notified. The meetings will no longer be held at the 541 Cafe.
The meeting finally began at approximately 7:05PM at Shoney's in downtown Clarksville.
Members present: Wallace Redd, Paul Herrell, Daryl Grace, Kyle Gray, and guest/member David Bilan..
Wallace turned the meeting over to Paul and he discussed the upcoming magic shows. TV(Eagles Telethon)
February 26th, March 10th, March 15th, and possibly March 22nd. Paul also discussed the upcoming lectures: Ron London on May 17th and Danny Archer on May 25th, 2005.
A brief treasury report was given. David Bilan paid his dues and was welcomed to the club as an official member.
After the business aspect of the meeting concluded Wallace gave a brief mentalism lecture. Wallace discussed many of the various aspects of mentalism including: book test, predicitions, etc.
David performed a rope trick, Daryl performed a mind reading effect with vacation cards. Paul performed a prediction with cards and then made a borrowed dollar bill float around. Kyle performed a written prediction effect. Much discussion was carried out about how the effects were performed, various gimmicks, etc
The meeting concluded and all went home after a very productive meeting.
Again, all meetings will now be held at Shoney's near downtown Clarksville. Lecture locations may vary. Details to follow as available.
