TriCities Magicians' Society
The meeting began at approximately 6:45 pm on October 19, 2004. Location: 541 Café (541 Franklin Street, Clarksville, TN).
Members Present: Paul Herrell, Jim Dennis, & Stephen Schroering
Guests Present: Kyle Gray
Jim and Paul were only members present for business meeting.
Shirts pending for club members. Email from Charles shows t-shirts for Battle of Wizards. Battle was noted to occur on November 13th. Details were not discussed. Paul made a poster for the 541 to display an gave it to them to advertise the event.
The club is to do a show on November 5th for South Chrisitian Elem. for their fall festival. Members wishing to participate are to contact Paul.
Paul brought up if to count Daryl's dues toward next year or to just for 2004. Motion made by Paul to count them toward 2005 also since it is already late in the year. Jim seconded the motion and it was approved by all present. Same would apply to other new members applying before the end of the year.
Magic Performed:
Paul performed Sympathetic Ten for Jim and they discussed the origin of the trick; Leipzig, Vernon, Dingle, Annamen.
Jim performed Scotch and Soda, and $1.35.
Steve arrived and we all discussed magic. This will also be Steve's last TCMS meeting as he is relocating to Florida at the beginning of next month. We wish him much luck and of course he is always welcome to return.
Steve also brought in some dates for the Trigg Co. show and gave them to Paul. Paul will work on coordinating this with the rest of the club members.
Kyle dropped in to say hello and pay a short visit, he also paid his dues.
Jim performed some coin magic for Steve. After some discussion the meeting was adjorned.
